This is the left crank (250 g) of a 1950s (I believe) women Girardengo. As you can see the crank is bent, It escapes me how they managed that, or if that was not on purpose, to maintain the Q factor low, at the expense of a non-orthogonal pedal (but it seems a bit too bent to me)... And I wonder if I should cold or hot bend it. Any suggestions welcome (feedback)
There's a small logo, a star with the letters E.B., Edoardo Bianchi perhaps?
The right crank with chainwheel (470 g ). Not bent but the teeth are a bit worn. I want to keep the cranks so I'll have to live with it, unless someone knows how to replace these press fit wheels. I have a possible replacement in a bottecchia one that I'll post here later.
