map holder for handlebar
A simple design of a map holder made of 2mm (or similar) stainless steel or titanium wire. The map or other directions notes would go in a waterproof plastic (with Velcro?) held between the straight sides.

The wire loops that go over the handlebar must be covered with heatshrink cable sleeves.
The same for the horizontal bit away from the handlebar, so that when folded down it does not scratch the stem.
The dimensions are indicative.
I would call this the poor and sage man GPS.
